Work out for a Pregnant Woman: Right or Wrong

"Pregnancy is not an ailment," The gynecologist doctor in Gurgaon Ragini Agrawal unleashes this secret.  "We need to stop thinking of pregnant women as if they are ill or distorted. We have entered the new era, in which we know convincingly that exercise is safe for a pregnant woman."

For low-risk pregnancies, exercise is encouraged as healthy by the doctor Ragini. Here are a few more things every pregnant lady should know about exercise...

1. Working out during pregnancy is not hazardous.
In fact, it's the opposite. The profit of exercise while expecting include condensed backaches and bloating, more energy, better mood, and, of course, muscle pitch and strength, which come in use.

2. You can still do cardio.
It's a myth that you have to sacrifice jogging or dancing.  Any exercises a woman did prior to pregnancy, she can carry on to do while she's

3. You can allow your heart rate go over 140 beats per minute.
If your heart rate is too quick, then blood flow to your uterus can happen to impaired. So until 2010, the 140 beats per minute were not considered healthy. But because highest heart rate varies from person to person, across diverse ages and fitness levels, the medical board detached that guideline.

4. You perhaps should not go to hot yoga.
Or run in the heat, since doctors believe that very high temperatures over an extended period of time can harm a developing fetus. However this is not a complete truth as that is the way your body cools down.

5. If you weren't exercising often before pregnancy, it's not too delayed to start.
Dr. Ragini suggests safe, low-impact exercises akin to walking and swimming can be good place to initiate.

6. Your baby is not active around in your uterus like a ball when you exercise.
Your baby is engulfed in amniotic fluid, in your uterus and abdominal walls. It is so cushioned in there, now and then the baby does not want to come out.

7. You can still lift weights.
If you're in the routine of strength-training, you can lift what you're relaxed with. After all, one time the baby comes, you shall be lifting it every day.

8. Working out during pregnancy is a reward for your wisdom.
It's not just about restrictive weight gain, although that's a motivator, since gaining too much for your BMI can lead to amplified risk of C-section, gestational diabetes, plus preeclampsia (pregnancy-induced high blood pressure). The psychological and mental special effects of exercise are enormous during pregnancy.  It is another way that you can sustain some control over your body, which is varying at lightning speed.

9. The exercises you did during your first pregnancy would not essentially feel best for your second if you go for it.
This all depends upon your body endurance and do what works for you. Therefore it is not mandatory to follow the same trend in the second pregnancy which you have done in the previous one.

Process of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In simple words IVF is a process in with the egg from the mother ovary is taken and then fertilized but the father’s sperm outside the mother body. This process is done in the laboratory where fertilized egg is cultured for 2–6 days in a growth medium and is then implanted the embryo in the same or another woman's uterus to complete a successful pregnancy.

Couples can be benefited from IVF if they are diagnosed with the Defects in the following:

  • Ovulation
  • Sperm count
  • Endometriosis
  • Uterus
  • Fallopian Tubes
  • Antibody with harm egg or sperm
  • If sperm is unable to penetrate or survive in the cervical mucus.

In Vitro Fertilization process

IVF process starts with the ovary stimulations in which during eight to 14 days near the beginning of menstrual cycle mother has to take gonadotropin, which is a category of fertility drug that stimulates ovaries to develop multiple mature eggs for fertilization as normal only one egg is formed from the ovary. Apart from this mother are also given a synthetic hormone like leuprolide or cetrorelix which keeps a body releasing eggs earlier than normal time. After this process Follicle (the fluid-filled sacs where eggs mature) development takes place.  Under the complete supervision of doctor’s blood hormone levels are checked and through ultrasound measurements of mother ovaries are done.

Then the trigger shot process is done when the follicles are ready an injection is ejected that causes the eggs to mature fully and become capable of being fertilized. Mature eggs are gathered by the doctor. They give an anesthetic and insert an ultrasound probe through your vagina to look at the mother ovaries and identify the follicles. Once the follicles are found then the thin needle is inserted through the vaginal wall to remove the eggs from the follicles. Normally eight to 15 eggs are retrieved. Then the Fertilization process takes place an embryologist (a scientist who are specializes in eggs, sperm, and embryos) will examine the eggs before combining them with the father’s sperm and incubating them overnight. Fertilization generally happens during this time. If in case eggs that aren't normal may not fertilized. Or if sperm is of poor quality then also fertilization will be unsuccessful. In this case doctor may recommend a technique called intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). In this process a single sperm is injected directly into each mature egg.  After three days when the egg is retrieval, some of the eggs that were successfully fertilized become six- to 10-celled embryos. By the fifth day, some of these embryos will become blastocysts with a fluid-filled cavity and tissues that are beginning to separate into placenta and baby.

Then the doctor selects the most viable embryo or embryos to place in mother’s uterus. Then the process of planting the embryos takes place. Depending on the age of the mother and diagnosis, doctor will place between one and five embryos in to the mother uterus by inserting a thin tube (a catheter) through the cervix. If the treatment is successfully implants then the treatment works, an embryo implants in to the mother uterine wall continues to grow into a baby. We have to keep in mind that if more than one embryo is transferred, then the chance of pregnancy is higher. It may be happens a probability of having a multiple pregnancy approx 20 percent of babies born through IVF Services in Gurgaon are twins, triplets, or more.

Success rate of IVF

IVF process totally depends on each couple's reasons for infertility and their ages. Younger women normally have healthier eggs and have high success rates. According to many surveys Success ratio age wise in IVF process is given below:

  • 41 percent for women younger than 35
  • 31 percent for women age 35 to 37
